Omar Gonzalez is a senior at Wesleyan University. He is majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and is interested in applying to medical school after graduation.
Abstract: Studies have shown that the relationship between social isolation and compulsive behaviors is often closely related. Current research has shifted towards trying to understand how different forms of social isolation can play a role in such compulsive tendencies. Therefore, this study is focused on trying to understand the extent to which different levels of binge drinking are associated with feelings of isolation from adolescents’ school social environment.
