Abstract: This study examines whether levels of school experience and knowledge quality are associated with adulthood arrests and whether this relationship varies by income level. Using data from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health (Add Health), measures of school experience and knowledge exposure, income, and arrest history were analyzed. Results showed that low-quality school experiences were significantly associated with higher arrest rates, and that both school quality and income significantly predicted arrest outcomes. Across all income levels, low-quality school experience and knowledge remained linked to greater arrest likelihood. These findings suggest that disparities in school experience and knowledge may contribute to unequal arrest outcomes.
